The healthcare industry is rapidly evolving. Healthcare professionals have more access to information than ever before. Blogs and social media have become prevalent in the field and the abundance of information on the Internet has made it a challenge to reach key stakeholders.

We wanted to answer the question: How can we keep maintain a visible online presence among the millions of pieces of content there created online annually in the healthcare space?

Carestream_Blog_Pinnacle_ImageSince its inception, Everything Rad has been able to reach hospital administrators, radiologists and IT staff where they are spending time—online. Everything Rad provides individuals with “perspectives from Carestream on trends and technology in diagnostic imaging.”

The blog focuses on major trends in radiology and health IT, while also featuring how our products and services fit within these trends. Our team has been able to offer consistent content with subject matter that is valuable. Posts are kept in accordance with upcoming tradeshows, product launches, and marketing initiatives in order to keep the blog consistent with other mediums.

Our team’s goal is to increase the number of unique visitors that the blog receives each year. Using analytics tools, we have been able to see year-over-year increases in unique visitors. Through strategic analysis of trends and use of key words, Everything Rad has been able to remain highly visible in search results within the radiology and health IT space.

Last year, the blogs notable visitors increased by 35%– this is just one of the goals that we were able to exceed. Everything Rad also had 26% more page views and 28% more returning visitors. These statistics are very telling of the exposure that the blog can bring to the Carestream website. The jumps in page views and visitors also drew 19% more web referrals from Everything Rad to Carestream.com.

Since 2009, Everything Rad has developed into a vital content channel for Carestream. The blog serves as not only a space for the company’s thought leaders and subject matter experts to explain a trend or present an opinion, but it has also served as our hub for sharing richer content such as white papers, case studies, research, and videos. With the blog growing as a hub year after year, 2015 is expected to be an even more effective year for Everything Rad.
