Our awesome volunteer, Rock, shared his experience with AMA Rochester:

” I had first learned about the AMA when I was a student at SUNY Brockport.  My fellow Marketing Club members and I knew it was something that we wanted to be a part of and took the necessary steps to get our school AMA affiliated.  I began attending events, including the 2017 Rochester AMA Collegiate Conference.  There, I ended up being introduced to The Verdi Group, whom I have been proudly working for ever since!  Throughout the years I have attended dozens of events, luncheons, and Pinnacle Awards, and I have never left without learning something new.  The events are a great way to connect with the local Rochester marketing community, build relationships, and stay up to date on the latest trends.  I have even been helping out the Rochester AMA with their social media posting this past year, all stemming from a conversation held at one of their networking events.  I am very thankful for all that the Rochester AMA has offered a young marketing professional like myself and I encourage others to take the leap and see what it’s all about!”
