Several board members just got back from AMA’s national Leadership Summit and we are energized and full of new ideas for the Rochester chapter!
The three-day conference gave us a chance to hear great ideas from other chapters around the country. We have a list of hot speakers to consider, ideas for changing up the structure of some of our events, and new channels for getting your feedback. The event was the perfect kickoff for our upcoming annual planning session in June.
We also represented Rochester well. Our chapter has a member retention rate of 70 percent, well above the national average. Other chapters were eager to hear about our successful Pinnacle award program, and our well-attended networking and professional development events. One attendee commented that Rochester was well-represented, “in brains, ideas, contribution, and just plain sassy personality.” We’ll take that!
